We are thrilled to announce that both our own Camp Slatina and Camp Cikat won awards at the first annual camping awards event organised by the specialist Dutch camping portal ACSI!
At this first ever event held on May 19th in Novi Vinodolski in Croatia, Camp Slatina was declared one of the best campsites in Croatia within the 'best for camping with your pet' category. This is another positive affirmation for the successful ‘Camping cum cane’ (Camping with dogs) project which has been operating in Camp Slatina since 2008 and which has won several other prestigious awards in the past.
At the same awards ceremony Camp Čikat also received a special recognition as one of 25 camps in Croatia that is worth a special mention.
ACSI is a specialist Dutch camping portal which has the accolade of being the most visited European camping website. This year it launched its own camping awards, holding their first ceremony in Croatia. With more than 50,000 votes coming from campers across Europe, this awards event ranks alongside the most prestigious awards events in European camping,
ACSI’s recognizable and reliable green campsite guides are full of information for campers and have been published since 1965. They have become part of the general culture for camping enthusiasts and camp owners providing general information on camping and the available options for varied camping holidays in Europe. For this year's awards event, campers from various European countries were able to vote through the ACSI website, for camps they consider to be the best in various categories. Out of a total of 9700 camps on the ACSI portal, 120 camps were awarded.
The awards and recognition that both Camp Slatina and Camp Čikat have earned now provide a great motivation for the upcoming season within both campsites which will both benefit from a number of new innovations.
