Campsite Čikat among 6 croatian campsites with DCC award

23.02.2018.

Camp Čikat enters the new camping season with one more award. The camp which is located on the island of Losinj is for the first time the winner of the prestigious award of the DCC Europapreis 2018 - the German Autoclub Award (100.000 members) for 2018.

The DCC Europapreis award exists since 1996, and this confirmation of the camp's good management explains why Čikat is one of only six Croatian camps to have won the award.

DCC explains:

"The German camping club is not only interested in campsites that offer luxury and a comprehensive entertainment program. It is important that camps are managed well, open to innovation and the ability to recognize guest wishes. With its area of 30 hectares, camp Čikat, owned by the Jadranka Group, delights its guests at a glance. The managements and camp staff are continuously investing in improving the services that the camp provides to its guests. Thus, among other things, they offer Superior plots with electricity, water and satellite TV and elegant mobile homes that provide everything that is needed for a perfect holiday.

There is much to offer in the camp, especially in the high season. Guests are also delighted with the spacious Aquapark to which they have free entrance. Our conclusion is: This is truly the perfect place where the whole family feels comfortable. "

The award ceremony will be held at the Reise & Camping fair, in the German city of Essen from February 21 to 25, 2018. You can find out not only more about campsite Cikat but also about our other campsites at the fair in Essen at the stands of the German Camping Club (DCC) and the Croatian Tourist Board.

Jadranka Camps, a member of the Jadranka Group, the fifth leading tourist company in Croatia, has won a number of other awards and accolades over the past period. Čikat camp was declared the best camp for the sixth consecutive year by Slovenian tourists, while the Croatian Camping Association and Croatian Auto Club included camps Čikat, Slatina and for the first time Baldarin camp amongst the 50 best camps in Croatia.

The numerous awards won y Jadranka camps and the increase in number of overnight stays have certainly contributed to the systematic investments of Jadranka Group in raising the rating of the Čikat four star category, ie the construction of the first fun Aquapark to be located on a  Croatian island and investments in the preservation of Jadranka hotels and camps. Also, the awards received are a pledge and additional motivation for future investment projects as well as confirmation of a well-done job.
